    Amusing exchange. Has me wondering: If Keynes had never bothered to engage him, would Hayek have disappeared in obscurity?

    Glad you are back, updating blog.
    Actually, Hayek and Keynes did debate, formally and informally. Keyenes swept the floor with Hayek. I have not seen the debates or transcripts, but they are discussed in the excellent *How Markets Fail*, by John Cassidy.

    I took Political Order and Change from Maynard Krueger at University of Chicago in 1976

    He openly admitted that many aspects of the New Deal didn’t have the effects he ha.d hoped for
