The Coming GOP Spectacle: “a freak show of stupendous proportions”

Emphasis mine:

I just want to say that I am so looking forward to the Republican primary campaign this cycle. It looks like Michele Bachmann is going to run, Palin might run, Newt Gingrich is probably going to run, Jim DeMint seems like he might run, and I suppose Ron Paul will run again too. This is a freak show of stupendous proportions, and it would be perfect if Donald Trump really did decide to join all these nutbags on the stage during the debates.

How do you know the Republicans are not going to win? If the economy is still pretty bad, why would Obama win a 2nd term?

Oh I know nothing. Nothing, till the fat lady sings. I just remember ’94, Gingrich, all that, then Clinton won pretty handily in ’96. Go figger. George Bush won in ’04. But the freak show does give me (foolish) hope.

They say that Washington D.C. is Hollywood for ugly people. Does that mean Republican presidential debate will be “Celebrity Apprentice for Circus Freaks”??? Shall we throw tomatoes at the TV monitor or ravish it like a bored housewife reading a filthy tabloid???

The serial adulterer and flatulent narcissist Newton Gringrich will not run if opposed… outside the possibility that a deal has been made such that he is the presidential nominee and his opponent will be the Veep nominee.
